$25 trial lessons let you meet the teacher before any commitment. Standard, senior, and master tiers match your pace and goals.

A path to mastery

ABRSM, CM, and RCM prep with students passing with Merit or Distinction every month — plus competitions, auditions, and Carnegie Hall.

No annual contracts

Pay month to month, withdraw with just 14 days’ notice, switch teachers anytime, and pay enrollment only once — not every year.

Built for busy families

Year-round operation including summers, sibling lessons at the same time, free Wi-Fi for waiting parents, and full-time admin staff seven days a week.

How Opus 1 compares

  • Most schools charge enrollment fees every year. We charge enrollment once — never again for our members.
  • Most schools require yearly or semester contracts. Month-to-month tuition. Withdraw anytime with 14 days’ notice.
  • Most schools raise tuition every year. We adjust tuition only every two years.
  • Most schools don’t allow rescheduling. Reschedule online with your teacher or a qualified substitute.
  • Most schools close for the summer. Open year-round — we only close for major national holidays.
  • Most local schools only offer CM exam prep. We prepare students for CM, RCM, and ABRSM.
  • Most schools have part-time admin or none. Full-time staff seven days a week — phone, email, or website chat.
