Alex is an accomplished pianist with over 15 years of teaching experience, specializing in exam preparation and tailored curriculum design.
His teaching style ensures that each student receives personalized attention and guidance tailored to their individual needs and musical aspirations. In the lesson, Alex's approach emphasizes creating a calm and productive learning atmosphere that unifies students' abilities with the requirements of the musical text and performance style. Students engage with level-appropriate repertoire and work towards well-defined, shared musical goals.
Alex completed his Bachelor's Degree at San Jose State University under Gwendolyn Mok and Namiq Sultanov and his Master's Degree at the University of Alberta under Jacques Despres. He has also been a young artist in Chamber Music Silicon Valley and a performer in the 2021 SF International Piano Festival.
Beyond piano study, Alex is an avid reader of novels and foreign languages, firmly believing in their power to enrich any musical interpretation.
