About Lina
Dr. Lina is a highly experienced concert pianist and chamber musician from South Korea. She holds a B.M. degree in piano performance from Hanyang University in Seoul, Korea, as well as a Master Solist degree from Hochschule für Musik in Detmold, Germany. Dr. Lina also completed a Master Kammermusik in Chamber Music from Hochschule für Musik in Detmold, Germany, and a Künstlerisch-weiterbildendes Studium from Hanns Eisler Berlin in Germany. She then earned a Konzertexamen degree (equiv. D.M.A.) in piano performance from Hogeschool Zuyd in Maastricht, Netherlands, with the highest honors. She has won several national and international competitions, such as the International Music Award Maastricht in the Netherlands and has performed at prestigious venues across Asia, Europe, and the USA. She has also been invited to perform at renowned international music festivals, including the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Lübeck, Germany, and the International Art-Festival Coup in Maastricht, Netherlands. With over 25 years of experience, she is a skilled music educator with a background in teaching piano. She has served as an adjunct faculty member at the Department of Piano at Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea, and has also taught at several other music universities and music schools in Korea. As a music educator, she is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience with her students to help them reach their full potential as musicians. She is patient, encouraging, and dedicated to helping each student succeed.
