About Sylvia

Sylvia is an internationally experienced piano, violin, cello, and music theory teacher. With 30+ years of experience, she has taught, led, and conducted numerous festivals and concerts. Her experience includes private and group lessons, K-12 music classrooms, and ensemble conducting. Her students have excelled in national competitions, college and orchestra auditions, and ABRSM exams with her goal being that students not only attain the highest possible score but also grow their love for music. She also prepares students for Certificate of Merit (CM) exams. Sylvia believes that creating opportunities for students to perform in ensembles and community programs is important for enriching the child's growth and love of music.
